Clippers Delay Christie Guarantee; Lakers, Hawks Fill Two-Way Slots

LOS ANGELES — The Clippers have pushed back the guarantee date on guard Cam Christie’s $2.3 million salary to Oct. 15, according to The Athletic. It is the second postponement this offseason, giving the team additional roster flexibility ahead of training camp.
Christie, 20, appeared in 55 games last season and averaged 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in a limited reserve role. The former second-round pick is under contract through the 2027-28 season, with the Clippers holding a team option on the final year.
Lakers Bring Back Kaluma on Two-Way Deal
The Lakers are signing forward Arthur Kaluma to a two-way contract after his standout performance in Las Vegas Summer League, ESPN reported. The 22-year-old averaged 18.6 points while helping Los Angeles finish 4-1 in Las Vegas.
Kaluma spent last season with the team’s G League affiliate after going undrafted out of Texas. The Lakers must clear one of their three existing two-way slots before finalizing his addition.
Hawks Add Wilson to Final Two-Way Spot
The Hawks have reached a two-way agreement with forward Jalen Wilson, HoopsHype reported. Wilson, 25, spent the past three seasons with the Nets after being selected in the second round of the 2023 draft. He appeared in 54 games last season, averaging 6.4 points while shooting 35.5 percent from beyond the arc.
The former Kansas standout completes Atlanta’s two-way trio alongside RayJ Dennis and Keshon Gilbert.
