LeBron James will be back at Fanatics Fest NYC this summer, marking his second consecutive appearance at the multi-day sports festival set for July 16-19 at the Javits Center in New York City.
The four-time NBA champion is scheduled to record a special live episode of his “Mind The Game” podcast on July 16, the event’s opening day. Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton will serve as guest host for the taping.
Festival organizers said James will also take part in programming on July 17, though specific details have not been announced.
“Mind The Game” debuted with JJ Redick as James’s co-host and is currently co-anchored by two-time MVP Steve Nash. The upcoming episode continues the show’s focus on high-level basketball analysis, with Haliburton expected to offer insights while he continues rehabbing a torn Achilles suffered in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.
By the time Fanatics Fest opens, James’s playing status for a potential 24th NBA season could be clearer, as free agency begins on June 30.
Billed as the “world’s No. 1 sports fan festival,” Fanatics Fest NYC brings together athletes, leagues, collectors, brands, and fans for panels, signings, and interactive experiences.
Meanwhile, Lakers guard Marcus Smart, who holds a player option for next season, recently said he hopes to continue teaming with James in Los Angeles.
