The Los Angeles Lakers continued their draft preparations on June 2 by evaluating four more prospects at the team’s El Segundo practice facility. Guards Skyy Clark, Tamin Lipsey and Peter Suder, along with forward Trey Kaufman-Renn, went through drills in front of club executives and coaches, according to Cody Taylor of The Rookie Wire.

Los Angeles holds the No. 25 pick in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft and has been cycling players through individual sessions as it decides whether to keep or trade the selection.

Prospects on the court

Skyy Clark — a 6-foot-3 guard who finished his college career at UCLA — averaged 11.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists as a senior while shooting 46.9% from the field and 42.7% from three-point range.

Trey Kaufman-Renn, a 6-foot-9 forward from Purdue, contributed 14.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game last season and converted 57.8% of his field-goal attempts.

Tamin Lipsey comes in at 6-foot-1 after averaging 13.5 points and 5.1 assists for Iowa State, shooting 45.9% overall and 31.6% from deep.

Peter Suder, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Miami (OH), posted 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 54.6% shooting, including 42.1% from three-point distance.

Ongoing evaluation process

General manager Rob Pelinka stated after the team’s playoff exit that he immediately turned his focus to the draft. Since then, the Lakers have hosted an extensive list of players, including Zuby Ejiofor, Alex Karaban, Baba Miller, Rafael Castro, Jaden Henley, Sam Alexis, Drake Allen, Duke Brennan, Keba Keita, Malachi Moreno, Mike Sharavjamts, Marquel Sutton and Mohamed Wague.

The workouts will continue in the weeks leading up to the June 25 draft as the front office gathers data on potential selections and possible trade assets.
