The Washington Wizards have reached a deal with undrafted rookie KeShawn Murphy, signing the 6-foot-10 forward to an Exhibit 10 contract, according to Jon Chepkevich of DraftExpress.
Murphy spent four seasons at Mississippi State, redshirting as a freshman, before transferring to Auburn for the 2025/26 campaign. After coming off the bench with the Bulldogs, he moved into the Tigers’ starting lineup and averaged 10.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.9 minutes over 31 games. He also posted 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per contest, demonstrating the defensive versatility scouts highlighted during his appearance at this year’s Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.
An Exhibit 10 deal is a non-guaranteed training camp contract that can be converted into a two-way pact before the regular season. The structure also allows the team to retain a player’s G League rights and offer a bonus of up to a projected $91,000 if he remains with the club’s affiliate for at least 60 days.
