Denver Nuggets wing Peyton Watson is deciding whether to accept a $6.5 million qualifying offer, a move that would determine his contract status for next season.
The offer, first reported Tuesday, would keep the 21-year-old under team control while giving him the option to secure a new deal later. Watson appeared in 62 games for Denver this season, averaging 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 18.5 minutes.
Denver selected Watson with the No. 30 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
