Undrafted center Ernest Udeh has reached a two-way agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com. Field of 68’s Vince Wolfram first reported the deal on social media.
Udeh, ranked No. 72 on ESPN’s pre-draft board, played his senior season at Miami after prior stops at Kansas (one year) and TCU (two years). The 6-11 rim protector started all 33 games for the Hurricanes in 2025-26, averaging 6.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steal across 28.2 minutes per contest. His defensive impact earned him a spot on the ACC All-Defensive Team.
The Cavaliers already have Tristan Enaruna and Riley Minix on two-way contracts that extend into 2026-27. Udeh is expected to occupy the club’s third and final two-way slot, replacing big man Olivier Sarr, who has aged out of two-way eligibility.
Fedor adds that Cleveland initially hoped to sign Northwestern forward Nick Martinelli to a two-way deal if he went undrafted, but the Los Angeles Clippers traded into the No. 55 pick to secure Martinelli’s rights.
