The Cleveland Cavaliers have secured undrafted center Ernest Udeh on a two-way contract, according to Field of 68’s Vince Wolfram, with the deal independently confirmed by Hoops Wire.

Udeh, 22, spent the 2025-26 college season at the University of Miami after previous stops at Kansas and TCU. The 6-foot-11 rim protector averaged 6.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks across 33 starts for the Hurricanes, performances that earned him a place on the ACC All-Defensive Team.

Regarded for his rebounding, shot-blocking and athletic finishing, Udeh becomes another developmental option in Cleveland’s frontcourt as the organization evaluates its young core. The signing is expected to occupy one of the Cavaliers’ three two-way roster spots for the 2026-27 NBA campaign.

Cleveland has remained active following this year’s draft, selecting Arkansas guard Meleek Thomas at No. 34 overall and inking guard Xaivian Lee to an Exhibit 10 contract before adding Udeh to the mix.
