NEW YORK — New York forward OG Anunoby left Wednesday night’s 108-102 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers with an apparent leg injury, exiting with 2:56 remaining in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Anunoby limped toward the bench moments after a missed dunk attempt and a subsequent jumper by teammate Mikal Bridges that pushed the Knicks ahead 103-99. The 26-year-old walked to the locker room without returning.

Head coach Mike Brown said he had no immediate information on the injury. “They haven’t told me,” Brown noted postgame. “I just know he left the game.” The team did not disclose the nature of the injury or whether Anunoby would undergo further tests.

Before departing, Anunoby scored 24 points and added five rebounds, four steals and a block across 37 minutes. Entering the night, he was New York’s second-leading postseason scorer behind Jalen Brunson, shooting 64% from the field and nearly 60% from three-point range.

Brunson said he had no details on the injury, while Karl-Anthony Towns — who posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists — said the team would “regroup tomorrow and see what the whole situation is.”

Anunoby missed four games of the 2024 conference semifinals against Indiana with a left hamstring strain and lasted only five minutes in the decisive Game 7, which the Knicks lost.

New York leads the best-of-seven series 2-0. Game 3 is scheduled for Friday in Philadelphia.
