Salt Lake City — Free-agent swingman Josh Okogie is set to join the Utah Jazz on a two-year contract worth $12 million, multiple sources told Shams Charania of ESPN.

Okogie, the 20th overall pick in the 2018 draft, opened his NBA career with four seasons in Minnesota. He signed with the Phoenix Suns during the 2023 offseason and spent a little more than two seasons there before being traded to the Charlotte Hornets in January 2025.

After finishing the 2024/25 campaign in Charlotte, the Georgia Tech product accepted a minimum-salary deal with the Houston Rockets, where he played a key reserve role throughout 2025/26. Charania reports that several teams pursued Okogie in free agency before he chose Utah.

The agreement will keep Okogie, 27, under contract with the Jazz through the 2027 offseason.
