The Los Angeles Lakers have placed guard Dalton Knecht and forward Jarred Vanderbilt on the trade block, according to a July 3, 2026 report from the New York Post.

The report states that the franchise is actively discussing potential deals involving both players, though no agreement has been reached. Details about possible trade partners or the Lakers’ desired return were not disclosed.

Knecht, a rookie selected with the No. 17 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, averaged limited minutes in his first season. Vanderbilt, acquired by Los Angeles in 2023, appeared in 34 games last year while dealing with injuries.

The timing of the move aligns with the league’s offseason trade window, when clubs typically test the market before free agency and summer league action.

Los Angeles has not publicly commented on the report, and representatives for Knecht and Vanderbilt have yet to respond.
