Center Robert Williams III and the Portland Trail Blazers have reached agreement on a contract extension valued at $44 million, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.
The new deal keeps the 26-year-old big man in Portland, where he finished the 2025-26 NBA season after arriving in a mid-season trade. Specific terms beyond the total value were not disclosed.
Williams averaged 7.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 22.7 minutes per game last season, providing interior defense and rebounding for a roster focused on developing a young core.
