Luka Doncic poured in 43 points, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 137-130 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, March 25, 2026, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Lakers, wrapping up a six-game road trip, never trailed despite playing without Marcus Smart, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton. Four Los Angeles players topped 20 points: Doncic (43), Austin Reaves (25), LeBron James (23) and Jaxson Hayes (21). Hayes, starting for the injured Ayton, added 10 rebounds for his first 20-10 performance with the team.

Los Angeles opened the game on a 10-0 run fueled by two steals from Indiana native Jake LaRavia. Doncic scored 21 points in the first quarter, helping the Lakers shoot 64 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from three while building a 45-28 lead.

With Doncic resting early in the second period, James controlled the offense, reaching 15 points, six rebounds and six assists by halftime. A 17-4 Pacers surge briefly cut the margin to 11, but the Lakers entered the break ahead 75-59.

Doncic and James re-established control in the third quarter, each setting up Hayes for highlight alley-oops as the lead grew to 23. Doncic’s 30th point midway through the period marked his 11th consecutive 30-point outing, tying the longest streak of his career and extending his personal best with Los Angeles. The Lakers carried a 105-85 advantage into the fourth.

Hayes reached the 20-point mark early in the final quarter, and Doncic hit 40 on a technical free throw—his fifth 40-plus game in the last 11. Indiana narrowed the gap to six in the closing minutes, but the Lakers’ early cushion proved decisive.

The Lakers return to Crypto.com Arena on Friday to face the Brooklyn Nets before hosting the Washington Wizards on Monday.
