The Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday unveiled a highlight reel of forward Adou Thiero, spotlighting his 10 most electrifying moments from the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Thiero, 21, returned to action after an injury-marred rookie campaign and delivered a series of emphatic dunks and defensive stops at the Thomas & Mack Center. The clip posted on the team’s X account shows alley-oops, one-handed and two-handed slams — including a left-hand finish — along with a chasedown block that drew one of the loudest reactions of the tournament.
Across five Summer League games, the 6-foot-8 wing averaged 15.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 55.3 percent from the field. He connected on 2-of-11 three-point attempts, an area the coaching staff has identified for further development.
Head coach JJ Redick turned to Thiero for limited postseason minutes last spring, and team officials believe his athleticism and two-way versatility could complement stars Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves in the regular rotation this year.
Kaluma earns two-way deal
The club also announced a two-way contract for forward Arthur Kaluma, who led the Lakers’ Summer League squad in scoring and produced several standout performances. Kaluma joins the organization alongside rookie guard Cameron Carr as Los Angeles finalizes its training-camp roster.
