The San Antonio Spurs are slated to play a pair of regular-season games in Europe during the 2026/27 campaign, according to Marc Stein. The matchups will take place in Paris, France, with the New Orleans Pelicans expected to serve as the opponent.
San Antonio last played in the French capital in January 2025, splitting two contests against the Indiana Pacers. The club is already booked for another European swing this coming January (2027), when it will play one game in Paris and another in Manchester, England.
This season’s European slate featured the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies, who met in Berlin, Germany, and London, England. Magic forward Franz Wagner and his brother Moritz Wagner are Berlin natives, adding a local connection to the Berlin matchup.
The NBA is reportedly targeting Berlin and Paris again for its 2028 European games.
On the court, the Spurs finished the 2025/26 regular season at 62-20 and advanced past Portland and Minnesota to reach the Western Conference finals. They open that series Monday against the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder. New Orleans ended 2025/26 at 26-56, tied for the league’s seventh-worst record.
