Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has obtained a restraining order against ex-girlfriend Mychelle Johnson, TMZ reported.
A Mecklenburg County judge ordered Johnson to avoid contacting or harassing Bridges or his current girlfriend and barred any alleged cyberstalking, according to court documents cited by the outlet.
In the filings, Bridges, 28, said Johnson traveled to the Hornets’ arena while intoxicated, tried to tamper with his vehicle, sent messages from a fake phone number, and approached his attorney under false pretenses. He also alleged she made comments to their children about his personal life and threatened to release private images. None of those claims have been independently verified.
Johnson has not issued a public response, the report said.
Bridges averaged 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in his eighth NBA season with Charlotte. The pair share four children and have been involved in several legal matters. In 2022, Bridges pleaded no contest to a felony domestic violence charge and received three years of probation after two additional felony counts were dismissed. He was later accused in 2023 of violating a protection order in an unrelated case.
