Suns guard Devin Booker sits 17th in the Western Conference fan vote for the 2026 All-Star Game despite producing 25.3 points and 6.4 assists per contest. “There are some super big-market teams. There are guys from different countries that have a whole country behind them,” Booker told the Arizona Republic. “Am I playing better than a lot of guys? For sure, but that’s not the setup.”
Teammate Grayson Allen called Booker “the engine for our team,” noting that the four-time All-Star’s improved playmaking has driven Phoenix’s surprising start.
Brooks One Technical Away From Suspension
Suns wing Dillon Brooks collected his 15th technical foul Tuesday against Miami, leaving him one shy of an automatic one-game suspension. NBA rules impose the ban at 16 technicals and add another suspension for every two technicals thereafter. No other player in the league has more than nine technicals this season.
Hayes Undergoes Hamstring MRI
Lakers center Jaxson Hayes had an MRI on his left hamstring Tuesday. Hayes told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin he has felt tightness for more than a week and hopes to return as early as the next game if the MRI is clear. The big man logged 19 minutes Monday against Sacramento.
Miller Making Case for Full NBA Contract
Clippers two-way guard Jordan Miller is pushing for a standard deal after averaging 11.8 points and 3.4 rebounds over his past five outings, including 21 points versus Brooklyn and 14 against Charlotte. “I belong here now,” Miller told the Orange County Register, citing his back-to-back Summer League first-team honors as proof of readiness.
