The Indiana Pacers have reached a one-year agreement with veteran big man Larry Nance Jr. worth about $4 million, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Nance, 33, appeared in 35 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, averaging 3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in a limited reserve role. Injuries have curtailed his court time over the past two years, but the 6-foot-7 forward remains valued for his ability to play both power forward and center.

While Charania reported the contract’s approximate value, Tony East of Circle City Spin indicated the agreement is expected to be a minimum-salary deal, with the $4 million figure representing a rounded estimate.

Indiana becomes the sixth NBA stop for Nance, who began his career with the Los Angeles Lakers and later spent time with the Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans before returning to Cleveland last season.

Nance is the latest departure from the Cavaliers this offseason, joining Dean Wade and Keon Ellis in free agency. Cleveland has re-signed veteran center Thomas Bryant and remains connected to ongoing speculation regarding a potential reunion with LeBron James.
