NBA Transactions Officially Completed on July 8, 2026

The NBA’s July moratorium ended Monday, allowing clubs to register every free-agency agreement and trade reached since the Finals. On Wednesday, multiple deals were formally filed with the league office.

Trades

Six-team blockbuster: The Mavericks, Pistons, Grizzlies, Wizards, Bucks and Clippers confirmed an 11-player swap that also moves 12 draft assets among the clubs.

Jazz-Lakers sign-and-trade: Utah sent center Walker Kessler to Los Angeles in exchange for two first-round picks and two first-round swaps.

Free-agent signings

Rockets: Guard Quadir Copeland accepted a two-way contract, while swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic signed a one-year deal.

Pacers: Forward Kelly Oubre Jr. agreed to a two-year contract.

Spurs: Veteran forward Harrison Barnes inked a one-year pact.

Pistons: Detroit completed a sign-and-trade for forward John Collins, giving him a three-year contract.

Wizards: Washington finalized a three-year sign-and-trade agreement with forward Khris Middleton.

Lakers: Los Angeles signed Walker Kessler to a four-year deal as part of the previously noted sign-and-trade with Utah.

Sixers: Philadelphia added guard Rayan Rupert on a two-way contract.

Grizzlies: Center Quinten Post accepted a three-year agreement.

Wednesday’s confirmations follow separate batches finalized on Monday and Tuesday as front offices continue processing summer moves.
