The New York Knicks overpowered the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, cruising to a 37-point victory that sealed a 4-0 sweep in the Eastern Conference finals and sent the franchise to its first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.

New York will open the championship round against either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder. Game 1 is set for Wednesday, June 3, at 8:30 p.m. ET, with every contest in the series slated to air on ABC, the NBA announced.

Point guard and team captain Jalen Brunson captured the Larry Bird Trophy as the series’ Most Valuable Player after receiving all nine media votes. Brunson averaged 25.5 points, 7.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds while logging 39.5 minutes per game over the four Philadelphia showdowns.

Although Game 1 against Cleveland was tightly contested, the Knicks dominated the next three matchups, each ending in comfortable wins. After dropping two of their first three postseason games this spring, New York has ripped off 11 straight victories heading into the Finals.
