The Atlanta Hawks have reached a two-way agreement with free-agent forward Jalen Wilson, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Wilson, 25, joins Atlanta after spending his first three NBA seasons with the Brooklyn Nets. Selected 51st overall in the 2023 draft, the 6-foot-8 forward appeared in 176 games for Brooklyn, averaging 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 40.1% from the field, 34.0% from three-point range and 78.8% at the free-throw line.
During the 2025-26 campaign, Wilson registered 6.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15.9 minutes across 54 contests, converting 39.6% of his shots and 35.5% from beyond the arc.
Wilson enjoyed a decorated collegiate career at Kansas, helping the Jayhawks capture the 2022 national championship and earning consensus first-team AP All-American honors as a junior in 2022-23.
His deal fills Atlanta’s final two-way slot. Guards RayJ Dennis and Keshon Gilbert occupy the other two positions. Because Wilson already holds three years of NBA service, the contract can cover only one season, positioning him to enter unrestricted free agency in the summer of 2027 if he remains on the two-way through season’s end.
