The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Kam Jones to a two-way contract, according to Hoops Hype’s Michael Scotto.
Jones, 24, entered free agency earlier this week after the Chicago Bulls waived him. Chicago had obtained the 6-4 guard in a draft-night trade that sent this year’s No. 38 selection—used by the Indiana Pacers to take Braden Smith—to Indianapolis.
A second-round pick at No. 38 in the 2025 NBA Draft, Jones appeared in 37 games for the injury-depleted Pacers last season. He averaged 3.2 assists against 1.0 turnover while logging 16.6 minutes per contest but struggled with perimeter shooting and overall efficiency. His rookie campaign was delayed by a back injury that kept him sidelined until mid-December.
Because Jones cleared waivers, the Bulls remain responsible for a $1,075,459 partial guarantee on his contract.
Joining Milwaukee brings Jones back to familiar territory; he played four seasons at Marquette before turning professional.
