The Utah Jazz have reached an agreement to bring in shooting guard Trey Alexander on a two-way contract, reports Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.

Alexander, 23, appeared in nine games for the New Orleans Pelicans this season after joining the club on a two-way deal last July. He averaged 5.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assist across 12.3 minutes per night while shooting 51.4% from the field, 50.0% from three-point range and 60.0% at the foul line.

The 6-foot-4 guard was a standout in the G League, posting 23.9 points per game over 26 contests with the Birmingham Squadron.

Undrafted out of Creighton in 2024, Alexander began his professional career on a two-way pact with the Denver Nuggets. He logged limited time in 24 NBA games that season but captured G League Rookie of the Year honors with the Grand Rapids Gold.

Utah currently has Blake Hinson and Tamar Bates occupying two-way slots. Alexander’s addition would fill the team’s three allowable two-way positions, though that mix can still change before the 2026-27 campaign tips off.
