Security staff intervened on June 11, 2026, when an unidentified fan tried to get too close to pop star Taylor Swift shortly before the Knicks’ epic rally in the NBA Finals.
According to arena personnel, guards quickly stepped between Swift and the approaching spectator, redirecting the individual without interrupting the game. Swift stayed in her seat throughout the brief disturbance, and play continued as scheduled.
No injuries were reported. Venue officials did not immediately disclose whether the fan was ejected or faced additional penalties.
The Knicks went on to stage a dramatic comeback later in the night.
