CLEVELAND — Toronto forward Brandon Ingram exited Wednesday night’s 125-120 Game 5 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers because of inflammation in his right heel.

The injury sent Ingram to the locker room with 7:32 remaining in the second quarter after just 11 minutes on the floor. He missed both of his field-goal attempts and ended the night with one point, two assists and one rebound.

Toronto carried a 74-67 advantage into halftime, but the defeat dropped the Raptors into a 3-2 hole in the best-of-seven first-round series.

Ingram has struggled offensively throughout the matchup, averaging 14.8 points on 33.9% shooting over the first four games.

The Raptors were already without starting point guard Immanuel Quickley, who was ruled out for the remainder of the series after injuring his hamstring in the regular-season finale.
