NEW YORK — Guard Miles “Deuce” McBride has begun shouldering a bigger share of the New York Knicks’ backcourt responsibilities, easing the nightly demands on starting point guard Jalen Brunson, according to an April 28 report by the New York Post.
The report states that McBride’s recent contributions have provided the Knicks with additional ball-handling, defense, and energy off the bench, allowing head coach Tom Thibodeau to manage Brunson’s minutes more effectively as the season progresses.
