An attendee who allegedly harassed New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson has been banned from sitting courtside for the rest of the NBA Finals.
The prohibition, confirmed Wednesday, applies to every remaining game in the championship series. Arena and league representatives did not immediately disclose the spectator’s identity or provide further details about the incident.
Brunson, 29, is in his second season with the Knicks and has been a central figure in the team’s postseason run. The NBA has increasingly moved to curtail disruptive fan behavior, and ejections or seating restrictions have become a common response to incidents involving players’ safety or well-being.
No additional disciplinary measures were announced, and it remains unclear whether the league will pursue further action once the Finals conclude.
