The outlet reports that images of Green celebrating in the French capital surfaced only hours after the 2026 NBA Draft concluded. At that point, Lendeborg—taken with Golden State’s top selection—had not yet spoken with the four-time NBA champion.
Neither player has commented publicly on the delay, and the Warriors have issued no statement regarding Green’s overseas appearance or his plans to connect with the rookie.
