PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers have reached a two-year agreement with free-agent guard Anfernee Simons, according to the New York Post.
The deal, struck on July 2, adds the 25-year-old scorer to Philadelphia’s backcourt as the NBA’s free-agency period picks up steam. Contract financial terms were not disclosed.
Simons spent his first six NBA seasons with Portland, developing into a reliable perimeter threat. He now becomes the latest offseason addition for the 76ers as the franchise continues reshaping its roster.
Both sides can finalize the contract once the league’s moratorium ends and signings are permitted.
