Hypothetical Trade Idea Sends Devin Booker to 76ers

Bleacher Report columnist Zach Buckley has floated a blockbuster proposal that would move four-time All-Star Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The proposed terms
Philadelphia would receive: Devin Booker
Phoenix would receive: rookie guard Jared McCain, forward Paul George, the Los Angeles Clippers’ 2028 first-round pick, Philadelphia’s 2029 first-round pick and Philadelphia’s 2031 first-round pick.
Timing restrictions
The deal could not occur immediately. Booker signed a two-year, $133 million extension in July, and NBA rules prevent him from being traded until January 10, 2026.
Why Philadelphia would act
Booker averaged 25.6 points and 7.1 assists last season while shooting 46.1 percent from the field, marking his seventh straight year above 25 points per game. Pairing him with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey would give the 76ers a high-powered offensive trio.
What it means for Phoenix
Phoenix would only consider such a package if Booker requested to leave, according to Buckley. George would provide an immediate star presence, McCain would supply a young building block, and three future first-round selections would replenish the draft cupboard.
Booker, 27, has made four All-Star appearances and famously scored 70 points in a game at Boston in 2017.
