Tim Hardaway Jr. Reaches Agreement With Miami Heat

Guard Tim Hardaway Jr. has reached a deal to join the Miami Heat, calling the opportunity an answer to his prayers, according to ESPN.
Contract terms, start date and additional details were not disclosed.
Hardaway Jr., 32, spent the past three seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 14.4 points per game last year. The 6-foot-5 veteran has also played for the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks since entering the league in 2013.
Miami finished 46-36 last season before falling in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The addition of Hardaway Jr. bolsters the club’s perimeter scoring and provides depth behind starters Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro.
The Heat have not yet announced when Hardaway Jr. will be introduced or when he is expected to report to the team’s offseason program.
