DETROIT — June 26, 2026: The Detroit Pistons have acquired guard Isaiah Joe from the Oklahoma City Thunder, adding one of the league’s top perimeter shooters as part of Oklahoma City’s ongoing roster overhaul.
The deal, confirmed Friday, moves Joe to Detroit after three seasons with the Thunder. The 6-foot-4 guard shot better than 41 percent from three-point range last year, ranking among the NBA’s most efficient long-distance threats.
Details of what Detroit sent to Oklahoma City were not released at the time of the announcement. The Thunder have been reshaping their lineup this offseason, and moving Joe continues that retooling effort.
Joe, 27, averaged 8.4 points in 19.3 minutes per game last season and is expected to bolster the Pistons’ outside scoring alongside Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey.
The trade is pending routine physicals for all players involved.
