LaVar Ball says quest to unite his sons has been “damn near for nothing”

June 26, 2026 — LaVar Ball has again called for his three sons to play together on the same NBA team, admitting the long-running effort has so far been “damn near for nothing.”
The patriarch of the Ball family revived the idea during comments published Wednesday. While restating his dream of seeing Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo share one roster, he acknowledged the difficulties that have kept the plan from materializing.
Ball did not outline a particular path forward but said he remains determined to persuade an NBA front office to bring the brothers together.
