The Memphis Grizzlies used the third overall pick in the NBA draft to select Duke University forward Cameron Boozer.
Boozer, who spent one season with the Blue Devils, now joins a Memphis roster looking to add front-court depth and scoring punch. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged double figures in points and rebounds during his collegiate campaign, establishing himself as one of the draft’s top prospects.
The selection gives the Grizzlies their highest pick since their 2019 lottery appearance and marks the second straight year the franchise has targeted a college freshman in the first round.
Boozer is the latest Duke player to become a top-five draft choice, continuing the program’s long history of producing NBA talent.
