Sacramento, Calif. — The Sacramento Kings are expected to explore trade possibilities for center Domantas Sabonis and additional veteran players during the upcoming NBA offseason, according to a report from Hoops Wire.
The report states that the Kings’ front office plans to gauge league-wide interest in Sabonis and other established members of the roster once the trading window reopens. No specific trade partners or timelines were disclosed.
Sabonis, 27, averaged a career-high triple-double this season and still has multiple years remaining on his current contract. Despite his production, Sacramento is reportedly open to reshaping the roster ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
Hoops Wire added that the organization will also listen to offers for unnamed veterans as part of a broader effort to adjust the team’s competitive path.
The Kings finished the regular season with a 46-36 record and were eliminated in the Play-In Tournament, prompting speculation about potential roster changes.
