The Los Angeles Lakers remained unbeaten in the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League on Tuesday night, defeating the L.A. Clippers 99–85 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The victory moved the Lakers to 3-0 in Las Vegas and 5-0 in summer competition overall. They are one of four teams without a loss, and only four clubs advance to the Summer League playoffs.
Guard Chris Mañon set the tone early, hounding Clippers lottery pick Keaton Wagler on defense and scoring 10 points in the opening quarter, including a corner three-pointer. First-round selection Cameron Carr, back after sitting out one game with a thumb injury, added a block and a three to help Los Angeles build a 24-16 lead after one period.
Arthur Kaluma provided instant offense off the bench, knocking down his first two three-point attempts. Early in the second quarter, Carr hit consecutive baskets to push the margin into double digits. Moments later, Adou Thiero was fouled hard on a dunk attempt, prompting a brief scuffle and an officials’ review that upgraded the infraction to a Flagrant 1. The Lakers closed the half on a surge and entered intermission ahead 54-38.
The Clippers opened the third quarter with a 12-2 run, trimming the deficit to six. Carr responded with eight points in the period, highlighted by a three-point play at the rim and a deep triple, restoring a 76-58 advantage heading to the fourth.
Play grew chippy down the stretch, but Los Angeles never relinquished control. Mañon converted an and-one, and Carr buried another three to seal the 14-point decision.
