The Brooklyn Nets have added forward E.J. Liddell to their roster as the team prepares for the start of training camp later this month.

The move, confirmed Wednesday, September 3, 2025, gives head coach Jacque Vaughn another front-court option heading into preseason workouts at the HSS Training Center in Brooklyn. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Liddell, 24, has spent the past two seasons in the NBA and G League after being selected 41st overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2022 draft. The 6-foot-6 forward averaged 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds in limited NBA action last season while splitting time with the Birmingham Squadron.

Brooklyn opens training camp in mid-September, with the first preseason game slated for early October. Liddell joins a frontcourt that already features Nic Claxton, Dorian Finney-Smith and rookie forward Noah Clowney.
