The Washington Wizards expect forwards Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly to rejoin the lineup Thursday when the team faces the San Antonio Spurs, according to the club’s latest injury report.

Sarr has missed all of December with an adductor strain but is set to play after appearing in 16 of Washington’s first 24 games. The 7-footer is averaging 19.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 29.7 minutes while shooting 51.5% from the field, a sharp increase from the 39.4% mark he posted as a rookie.

Coulibaly, sidelined for the past four games by an oblique issue, has endured several injury interruptions this season. The second-year wing has suited up for only 12 contests, producing 8.8 points in 27.2 minutes per game on career-low shooting percentages of 37.4% overall and 26.8% from three-point range.

Despite their limited availability, the two French teammates have combined for 3.0 blocks and 2.1 steals per game and are viewed as key pieces for a Washington defense that currently owns the NBA’s worst rating. They have shared the court in only eight games so far.

The same injury report lists guard Malaki Branham as questionable with a right thumb sprain, while forward Khris Middleton (right knee contusion) and guard Corey Kispert (right thumb distal phalanx fracture) remain out.
