The New York Knicks overwhelmed the Utah Jazz on Friday night, exploding for an unanswered 23-0 run to start the game and coasting to a lopsided victory.
The stunning opening burst left the Jazz scoreless for the first several minutes, while New York scored at will in transition and half-court sets. By the end of the first quarter, the Knicks had built a commanding cushion they would maintain the rest of the way.
Utah never recovered from the early onslaught, and the Knicks led wire to wire in a contest that remained one-sided from the opening tip until the final buzzer.
