Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will miss a minimum of one week after straining his right groin during Monday’s victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, the team announced Wednesday.

The timetable places Booker out for three upcoming Western Conference road games: Friday at the Houston Rockets, Monday at the Minnesota Timberwolves, and next Wednesday at the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is scheduled to be reevaluated after the Thunder matchup.

Booker exited Monday’s contest after 10 minutes with Phoenix trailing 27–26. He had tallied 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting along with three assists and two rebounds before leaving. Head coach Jordan Ott said the injury appeared to occur when Booker collided with Los Angeles center Jaxson Hayes on a drive to the basket and then felt discomfort a few plays later.

The three-time All-Star has appeared in all 22 Suns games this season, leading the club in scoring (25.0 points per game) and assists (6.7). Phoenix entered Wednesday at 13-9, seventh in the Western Conference standings.
