Restricted free agent guard Josh Giddey has agreed to a four-year, $100 million contract to remain with the Chicago Bulls, agent Daniel Moldovan of Lighthouse Sports Management told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Tuesday. The pact is fully guaranteed and includes no player or team options.

According to league sources, Giddey initially pursued a five-year, $150 million agreement before settling on the current terms.

The 21-year-old Australian completed the final season of his rookie deal in 2024-25, a four-year, $27.21 million contract signed in August 2021. He earned $6.58 million in 2023-24 and $8.35 million last season, with both wages coming via club options.

Chicago acquired Giddey from the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2024 in a swap that sent guard Alex Caruso to Oklahoma City. At the time of the trade, Thunder general manager Sam Presti said Giddey had expressed interest in finding a larger role elsewhere, noting, “Josh has All-Star potential, but accessing that in the current construct of the Thunder would not be optimal for the collective.”

Giddey delivered career-high numbers last season, helping boost his market value ahead of restricted free agency. He is the second restricted free agent to finalize a contract in September, following Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas, who signed a one-year, $6 million qualifying offer last week. Jonathan Kuminga (Golden State Warriors) and Quentin Grimes (Philadelphia 76ers) remain the only RFAs still unsigned this summer.
