The Phoenix Suns have converted Oso Ighodaro’s partial guarantee into a full $2.3 million salary for the 2026-27 season, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

Before the move, the 6-foot-11 center’s contract carried a $250,000 guarantee for next season, a figure that would have risen to $500,000 had he stayed on the roster through the first day of the regular season. The new decision locks in his entire 2026-27 pay immediately.

Ighodaro, an Arizona native who played high school basketball in Phoenix, appeared in all 82 regular-season games for the Suns in 2025-26, his second NBA campaign. He averaged 6.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 steals in 22.0 minutes per game, and also saw action in both play-in contests and all four postseason outings.

The former Marquette standout was selected 40th overall in the 2024 draft. His current contract includes a $2.5 million team option for the 2027-28 season.

With Ighodaro’s deal now fully secured, Phoenix has nine players on guaranteed contracts for 2026-27.
