The Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, July 18, in the semifinals of the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PT at the Thomas & Mack Center, with Amazon Prime carrying the broadcast.
Los Angeles secured the tournament’s top seed after winning its first four games in Las Vegas by a combined 70 points, capped by Thursday’s 23-point victory over the Chicago Bulls. The Lakers have won six straight overall since dropping their California Classic opener to Golden State.
The other semifinal pairs the Memphis Grizzlies against the Houston Rockets. Winners will advance to Sunday’s championship game.
First-round pick Cameron Carr, selected 24th overall out of Baylor, has led the Lakers’ surge, showcasing consistent scoring and improved defense. Returnees Adou Thiero, Chris Mañon and Arthur Kaluma have also been key contributors during the undefeated stretch in Las Vegas.
Los Angeles last captured the Summer League title in 2017. Carr said after Thursday’s win that the current roster is focused on repeating that feat, telling Prime, “We’re here to win it. Job not done.”
