The San Antonio Spurs have designated starting point guard De’Aaron Fox (right ankle soreness) and reserve center Luke Kornet (left foot soreness) as questionable for Monday’s Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

According to The Athletic’s Jared Weiss, Fox has dealt with the same ankle issue for several weeks. The 28-year-old was also listed as questionable late in the second-round series versus Minnesota but played every game.

Fox appeared in 72 regular-season contests, averaging 18.6 points, 6.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 31.0 minutes. His postseason production has remained steady: 18.8 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 33.2 minutes in 11 playoff games.

Kornet contributed six points, six rebounds and four blocks in 14 minutes during Friday’s series-clinching win over the Timberwolves. The veteran big man has played in every Spurs game this postseason, averaging 5.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 16.5 minutes.

Oklahoma City, the defending NBA champion, hosts San Antonio for the series opener.
