Seven additional NCAA early entrants removed their names from the 2026 NBA Draft pool before Wednesday’s 11:59 p.m. ET withdrawal deadline, electing to return to school for the 2025-26 season.
The players and their 2025-26 programs are:
- Kennard Davis, G/F, BYU (junior)
- Keanu Dawes, F, Utah (junior)
- Gabe Dynes, C, USC (junior)
- Eian Elmer, F, Miami (OH) (junior)
- Louis Hutchinson, G/F, Alabama A&M (junior)
- Sebastian Rancik, F, Colorado (sophomore)
- LeJuan Watts, F, Texas Tech (junior)
According to DraftExpress analyst Jon Chepkevich, at least six of those athletes have already committed to new programs for the 2026-27 campaign. Davis will transfer to Missouri, Dawes to Kansas, Dynes to Louisville, Elmer to Wisconsin, Rancik to Florida State, and Watts to Washington. Hutchinson, who has suited up for four teams since 2022, remains in the transfer portal and is expected to land elsewhere.
None of the seven appeared on ESPN’s 2026 top-100 prospects list. Their decisions finalize the status of every NCAA early entrant: 34 players have now withdrawn, while 26 are still expected to stay in the draft, pending official confirmation from the NBA.
The next key date is June 13, the league’s final withdrawal deadline, which applies primarily to the 11 international prospects who filed early-entry paperwork.
