Sacramento, CA — The Sacramento Kings have appointed Saagar Sarin as general manager of the Stockton Kings, the organization’s NBA G League affiliate, the club announced in a press release.
Sarin, 31, will retain his current role as Sacramento’s senior director of pro personnel while overseeing Stockton’s basketball operations. His existing position places him at the center of the Kings’ professional scouting efforts.
A native of California, Sarin broke into the NBA with the Houston Rockets, serving in various capacities from 2016 to 2019. He then spent two seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves (2019–21) before joining the Kings, where he has worked for the past five years.
With an academic background grounded in business, statistics, and analytics, Sarin steps in to guide a G League team that captured the 2025 NBAGL title and finished as the 2026 runner-up last month.
