NBA Draft Workout Roundup: Grizzlies Evaluate Koa Peat; Warriors, Pistons Host Prospects; Keita Gains Attention

Arizona forward Koa Peat, projected to go in the first round, headlined a group of players who auditioned for the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, according to league sources. Peat is ranked No. 25 on ESPN’s latest big board and No. 18 on Bleacher Report’s list, though questions about his perimeter shooting have cooled his stock. The 19-year-old helped the Wildcats finish 36-3 last season, capturing the Big 12 tournament title and reaching the Final Four.
The Grizzlies also looked at Malik Dia (Ole Miss), Jestin Porter (Clemson) and Latrell Wrightsell (Alabama). Memphis owns the Nos. 3, 16 and 32 picks in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Other Monday workouts
Golden State Warriors: The team brought in six prospects—Obi Agbim (Baylor), Tucker DeVries (Indiana), Tamin Lipsey (Iowa State), AK Okereke (Vanderbilt), Peter Suder (Miami [Ohio]) and Lamar Wilkerson (Indiana). Lipsey, No. 69 on ESPN’s board, is the highest-rated of the group. Golden State controls picks No. 11 and 54 in June’s draft.
Detroit Pistons: Prospects Nick Boyd (Wisconsin), Rafael Castro (George Washington), Nate Johnson (Kansas State) and Xaivian Lee (Florida) worked out for Detroit. Castro holds the highest ESPN ranking among them at No. 73, with Boyd at No. 77. The Pistons have one selection, No. 21 overall.
Keba Keita: The former BYU center, unranked by ESPN and Bleacher Report, has generated notable pre-draft buzz. Keita recently auditioned for the Jazz and has roughly a dozen additional workouts scheduled. Teams are evaluating the Malian big man as a potential two-way or Exhibit 10 signing should he go undrafted. Utah owns the No. 2 pick but could consider Keita later if he remains available.
