The New York Knicks have listed forward OG Anunoby as probable for Tuesday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to the team’s official injury report.
Anunoby, 28, practiced in full on both Friday and Saturday after straining his right hamstring in the closing minutes of the Knicks’ Game 2 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on May 6. He was initially deemed questionable for Games 3 and 4 of that second-round series but was ultimately ruled out for both contests.
Early evaluations categorized the injury as a mild strain. Last week, Anunoby said the issue was less severe than previous hamstring problems he has experienced with his left leg.
The veteran wing has been a key contributor throughout the 2026 postseason, averaging 21.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.1 blocks in 35.3 minutes over eight games while shooting 61.9 percent from the field, 53.8 percent from three-point range and 81.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Tipoff for Game 1 at Madison Square Garden is set for Tuesday night.
