The Brooklyn Nets intend to sign free-agent wing Keon Ellis to a two-year contract worth $18 million, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Charania reported that the agreement is fully guaranteed and includes a mutual option, though the exact breakdown of the option has not yet been revealed.
Ellis, 26, entered the league as an undrafted free agent after completing his college career at Alabama. He spent more than three seasons with the Sacramento Kings before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of this year’s February deadline. The 6-foot-4 guard closed the 2025-26 regular season strong for Cleveland but did not appear in the Cavaliers’ playoff rotation.
Additional contract details are expected when the deal becomes official.
