Brooklyn, NY — Brooklyn Nets two-way player E.J. Liddell is expected to continue his career in Greece, where he has agreed to a two-year contract with Aris B.C., according to Eurohoops reporter Johnny Askounis. The agreement awaits only the club’s formal announcement.

The 6-foot-6 forward signed his two-way deal with Brooklyn in September, a pact that covered just the 2025-26 season. He appeared in 26 NBA games for the Nets, starting five, and averaged 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists while shooting 48.6 percent from the field. His most productive stretch came in five April contests, when he posted 18.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Liddell also logged 26 games with the Long Island Nets of the G League, contributing 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 29.3 minutes a night.

Selected 41st overall in the 2022 NBA Draft, the Ohio State product suffered a torn ACL during Summer League play a few weeks later and missed his entire rookie season. Before arriving in Brooklyn, the 25-year-old saw action in 20 NBA games split between the New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls.

Liddell will join an Aris club that competes in both the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League, marking his first professional stint outside the United States.
