Clippers add shot-blocking center Jamarion Sharp on two-way contract

The Los Angeles Clippers have reached a two-way agreement with free-agent center Jamarion Sharp, agent Scott Nichols told HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.
Sharp, who turns 25 next month, went undrafted out of Ole Miss in 2024 and has spent most of the past two seasons with the G League’s Texas Legends. The 7-5 rim protector was named the 2025-26 G League Defensive Player of the Year after averaging a league-best 3.9 blocks, earning a spot on the circuit’s All-Defensive Team.
Before turning pro, Sharp led the NCAA in blocked shots in both 2021-22 (4.6 per game) and 2022-23 (4.1) while playing for Western Kentucky. He most recently appeared for the Toronto Raptors in this month’s Las Vegas Summer League, where he posted 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 18.2 minutes over five games.
The Clippers expect Sharp to bolster their frontcourt depth while Yanic Konan Niederhauser recovers from two procedures on his right foot. The club has not provided a timetable for Niederhauser’s return, but he is unlikely to be available for opening night.
Los Angeles currently has two other players—Sean Pedulla and 2026 second-round pick Nick Martinelli—on two-way deals, leaving one slot open. Signing Sharp will not require a corresponding roster move.
